Erasmus+ UPT2S project meeting

by Sekretariat

C1 activity of the Erasmus+ UPT2S PROJECT took place from 27 September to 1 October 2021 at DEULA Nienburg (Germany).

A group of 20 participants from the project partner countries Spain (EFA La Malvesia), Estonia (Järvamaa Kutsehariduskeskus), France (MFR de Bretagne), Croatia (Srednja Skola Bedekovcina), Germany (DEULA Nienburg) met in Nienburg to check the quality of the project results developed so far.

The focus of this project is the professionalisation of the role of trainers in the dual training system. The transformation of the company employee into a pedagogical employee and a fixed link between companies and educational institutions should be facilitated with the created resources/tools. These include a 25-hour online course, the creation of an app to assess learning levels, complemented by a guide to successful practices in this area.

An essential element of the meeting was to test the pedagogical results for their quality, which the partners have developed up to this point in the project. These are an online course for trainers in practice and an app for evaluation and communication between training managers, guardians, vocational schools and companies. The app is intended to help track the actual progress of training.

The meeting was rounded off with lectures on the dual training system in Germany. The first speakers were Mr. Bernd Antelmann as Managing Director of DEULA Nienburg, who explained the role of DEULA Nienburg in the dual training system. This was followed by Jens Mertens from the Lower Saxony Chamber of Agriculture, who explained the advantages of the dual training system from the point of view of the chamber, and Dr. Andreas Bock from the Justus-von-Liebig-Schule (Hanover), who explained the successes of the dual training system to the audience from the point of view of the vocational schools.

On two afternoons, the group visited the farms Gärtnerei Wölk (Nienburg) and Hof Derboven (Warpe) to find out about the training in the companies.

We would like to thank all those involved for this successful and successful meeting and are now joining forces in the project finale.
